ما يزال الين الياباني أقل قيمة مقابل الدولار الأمريكي بعد بيانات بنك اليابان بارتفاع مؤشر تانكان للشركات المصنعة الكبيرى في البلاد من 16 في الفترة السابقة إلى 17 في الربع الأول. وقد أغلق مؤشر asx 200 على انخفاض بنسبة 0.20% ، وقد ارتفع مؤشر هانغ سينغ بنسبة 1.02% مع ارتفاع في مؤشر csi 300 بنسبة 0.78% وانخفاض في مؤشر نيكاي بنسبة 0.24%.

ارتفعت الأسهم الأسيوية يوم الأربعاء في ثالث جلسات الأسبوع وأخر جلسات عام 2014 وسط انخفاض حجم التداول في غياب بعض الأسواق الأسيوية وعلي رأسها السوق اليابانية لقضاء عطلة رأس السنة وتتجه الأسهم إلي تسجيل أول خسارة سنوية منذ عام 2011.
ارتفع مؤشرmsci للأسهم الآسيوية باستثناء اليابان بنسبة 0.3 بحلول الساعة 12:10 بتوقيت هونغ كونغ ،وأغلقت الأسواق في اليابان وكوريا الجنوبية والفلبين وتايلاند واندونيسيا لقضاء عطلات رأس السنة.
فقد مؤشرmsci للأسهم الآسيوية نسبة 2.3 بالمئة على مدار عام 2014 في أول خسارة سنوية منذ عام 2011 وسجلت شركات السلع أكبر انخفاض على المؤشر خلال هذا العام.
