    يعمل سوق الفوركس على مدار 24 ساعة يومياً. ويُعزى ذلك إلى وجود ثلاثة مراكز تداول رئيسية يتم خلالها إجراء معظم أنشطة التداول خلال فترة تتراوح ما بين 8 إلى 10 ساعات في كل منها. هناك فترات تتقاطع فيها أنشطة التداول في منطقتين على الأقل وغالباً ما نشهد خلال تلك الفترات أقصى مستويات تذبذب السوق. ويتيح تعاقب جلسات التداول، والتي تبدأ في طوكيو وسيدني (الجلسة الآسيوية)، يليها جلسة لندن (السوق الأوروبية) وأخيراً جلسة نيويورك، وجود حالة من النشاط المستمر في سوق الفوركس على مدار 24 ساعة تقريباً، حيث يبدأ العمل يوم الأحد الساعة 9 مساءً بتوقيت جرينتش وينتهي يوم الجمعة الساعة 9 مساءً بنفس التوقيت.

    بالفعل أخي الفاضل سوق الفوركس يعمل على مدار 24 ساعة طيلة الأسبوع ما عدا يومي السبت و الأحد لأن السوق يغلق يوم الجمعة ليلا و يفتح يوم الأحد ليلا و هذا ما يميز سوق الفوركس لأنه تقريبا طيلة الأسبوع يكون مفتوح و بالتالي يمكن الإستفادة و التداول في كل وقت
