This depends on your trading strategy and
how long you like to keep your deals **** for.
Available timeframe views usually include:
tick-by-tick; 1, 5, 15 and 30 minutes; 1, 2 and
4 hours; 1 day and 1 week. A day trader would
normally start by looking at a longer timeframe
to gauge the long term trend and then move
down the scale of time periods to 1 hour, 30
minutes or 5 minutes, to look for entry and exit
signals.
