    مؤسسة النقد العربي السعودي تدرس اطلاق عملة رقمية خاصة بها

    كشفت مؤسسة النقد العربي السعودي عن مشروع تجريبي تقوم المؤسسة في إطاره بإصدار عملة رقمية يكون تداولها محصوراً بين البنوك فقط، لتفادي أي أثر اقتصادي ممكن حدوثه في السعودية .

    جاء ذلك خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده أحمد الخليفي محافظ “ساما” أمس الأربعاء في مقر مؤسسة النقد بالرياض بمناسبة إصدار التقرير السنوي الـ53 للمؤسسة عن التطورات الاقتصادية والمالية في المملكة خلال عام 2017.

    وقال الخليفي إن مؤسسة النقد في الوقت نفسه، ستقوم بتقييم الجوانب الإيجابية للتجربة، والنظر في استمرارها أو إيقافها.
