وقد تغير الجنيه الاسترليني قليلاً إلى 1.6514$ في وقت متأخر من بعد الظهر بتوقيت لندن. وقد هبط إلى 1.6460$ ليوم أمس. وقد ارتفع الجنيه الاسترليني بنسبة 0.4% إلى 83.58 بنس لليورو وذلك بعد انخفاضه إلى 84 بنس في 19 من شهر مارس، وهو أدنى مستوى له منذ 25 من شهر ديسمبر. وقد ارتفعت قيمة الجنيه الاسترليني بنسبة 9.7% للعام الماضي وهو أفضل أداء بين عملات 10 من الدول بحسب فهارس بلومبرج. وقد ارتفع اليورو بنسبة 8.1% وقد فقد الدولار نسبة 0.2% من قيمته
