إن المبلغ الذي يمكن أن تخسره في صفقة ما لابد أن لا يزيد عن 5 % من مجمل حسابك الكلي .
فما معنى ذلك ؟
لنفترض أن لديك حساب عادي به 10.000$ وقررت الدخول في صفقة ما فهذا يعني إنه عليك أن تحسب السعر الذي ستخرج به في حالة الخسارة بحيث لا تزيد الخسارة إن حدثت عن 500$ وهو ما يعادل 5% من مجمل حسابك الكلي .

و لكن أيضا الستوب سلاح ذو حدين لأن السعر يمن أن ينعكس بعد ضرب الستوب
