لقد تعرض الرنمينبي لعشر خسارات يومية متتالية بنسبة 0.1% مما يشير إلى ان بنك الشعب الصيني لا يزال حريصاً على إظهار تذبذب التجار في اتجاهين مختلفين وذلك بدلاً من رفع قيمة العملة في الأساس. وقد بلغ الانخفاض التراكمي خلال عشرة جلسات إلى ما نسبته 1.4%. منذ الذروة التي بلغتها في منتصف شهر يناير من عام 2014 حيث فقدت العملة 1.8% من قيمتها.
