يستخدم هذا الامر للحد من خسارة الصفقة ويوضع بتحديد سعر معين لإغلاق الصفقة للحد من الخسارة إذا كان السوق متوجه بعكس صفقة المتداول. فعلى سبيل المثال إذا كانت لديك صفقة شراء لزوج معين من العملات واتجه السوق في الاتجاه الهابط فإنك ستضع هذا الأمر على سعر معين ستغلق عنده الصفقة آلياً في حال وصل السوق له وذلك للحد من الخسائر.
