الفرق بين الترند والدعم والمقاومة ان الترند عبارة عن خط يبين اتجاه السهم هل هو الى اعلى ام الى اسفل وهل في المستقبل سيستمر على نفس الاتجاه ام انه سوف يتغير اما الدعم والمقاومة فتبين الخطوط التي تمنع السهم من النزول الى اسفل منها او لارتفاع اعلى منها وينقسم الترند لنوعين اولا (up trend) ويكون اتجاه الصعود لاعلى ويكون الخط عبارة عن خط يصل بين نقاط الانخفاض لهذا السهم ويجب ان يلامس نقطتين عالاقل وكل مازاد عدد النقاط كان افضل وكل ماكانت النقاط متباعدة وعلى مسافات متساوية كلما كان الترند قوي والعكس كلما كانت النقاط متقاربة والمسافة قريبة جدا كلما كام الترند غير صادق ولايمكن الاعتماد عليه ثانيا (down trend) وهو الخط الذي يرسم بين نقاط الارتفاع اثناء هبوط السهم وله نفس شروط ال(up trend) السابقة
