الذيل
مفهوم متعارف عليه باللغة المهنية للمتداولين،
و يدل على الظل السفلي أو الفتيل، بمعنى، المسافة على الشمعة اليابانية بين الأقصى من أسعار الإفتتاح أو الإغلاق و الأدنى سعر في الفترة التداولية.
الظلال الطويلة تشير إلى نشاط تداولي نشط، الذي ينتج عنه عادتاً ذهاب السعر إلى بعيداً عن سعر الإفتتاح \ الإغلاق. الظلال القيصرة،
