وذكرت الادارة الامريكة في بيان ان التحسن القوي في انتاج الولايات المتحدة يرجع إلى التقدم في تكنولوجيا التنقيب التي تسمح باستخراج الغاز من حقول رملية كانت في الماضي اقل انتاجية في شمال وجنوب البلاد.

وزاد سعر الذهب في السوق الفورية لأعلى مستوى خلال الجلسة عند 1624.36 دولار للأوقية قبل ان يتراجع بحلول الساعة 1450 بتوقيت جرينتش الى 1620.30 دولار.
وارتفعت العقود الآجلة الأمريكية للذهب تسليم اغسطس اب ثمانية دولارات إلى 1620.80 دولار للأوقية. وكان السعر الفوري ارتفع إلى 1617.40 دولار للأوقية يوم الثلاثاء.
