كما علمت فان امريكا من اكثر الدول استهلاكا للدهب فعند ارتفاع الدهب سينخفض بالضرورة سعر الدولار ــ عكس الحال استراليا فانها من اكثر الدول
انتاجا وتصديرا للذهب وبالتالى سوف تزداد العملة الخاصة بها عند ارتفاع الدهب ،،،
ولكن ليس كل ارتفاع ممكن يؤثر على سعر العملة بنفس الدرجة

على حد عملي وقع رفع إرتباط سعر الدولار بالمخزون الأمريكي للذهب منذ عقود، لكن وبقدرة قادر لازال إنخفاض الدولار يؤثر تأثيرا غريبا في إرتفاع سعر الذهب في العالم، لكن في كل الحالات (بغض النظر عن إنخفاض الدولار أو غيره من العملات) يبقى الذهب سلعة كغيره من السلع يخضع لقانون العرض والطلب الذي قد يؤدي إلى تذبذب أسعاره.
