أعلن البنك المركزي المصري أنه اليوم الاثنين 27 يناير/كانون الثاني لعام 2014 سيطرح عطاء استثنائيا وذلك بهدف بيع 1.5 مليار دولار إلى البنوك، حيث أن هذا العطاء هو الرابع من نوعه ويُعتبر أكبر بكثير من مبيعات دورية للعملة التي تبلغ قيمتها 40 مليون دولار يقوم بها البنك المركزي المصري ثلاث مرات أسبوعيا.
