أعلن رئيس مؤسسة الاستثمارات الأجنبية والمساعدات الفنية والاقتصادية الايرانية بهروز عليشيري يوم السبت 3 مايو/ أيار، أن إيران سددت ديونها كاملة للبنك الدولي. وأوضح بهروز علیشیري في تصريح للوكالة الإيرانية للأنباء (ارنا) أنه وفقا للمفاوضات التي جرت مع البنك الدولي خلال الأشهر الماضية، حصلت طهران على ترخيص من وزارة الخزانة الأمريكية لتسوية الديون الايرانية. وصرح أنه "تمت تصفية ديون إيران، ما يمكّن إيران من الحصول على تسهيلات مصرفية من البنك، عن طريق خط الاعتماد المحد
