الرول أوفر هي الفائدة التي تدفعها أو تحصل عليها نتيجة الابقاء على أي تداول يبقى مفتوحاً عند الساعة الخامسة بالتوقيت الشرقي للولايات المتحدة. لكل عملة سعر فائدة مرتبطة بها، ولأن الفوركس يتم التدتول عليه على شكل أزواج من العملات فإن لكل تداول طرفين من العملات ولكن كل واحدة بسعر فائدة مختلف، فإذا كان سعر الفائدة على العملة التي تقوم بشرائها أعلى من سعر الفائدة للعملة التي تقوم ببيعها، فهنا يعني أنك ستحصل على الرول أوفر (الرول أوفر الإيجابي)، أما إذا كان سعر الفائدة على العملة التي تشتريها أقل من سعر الفائدة للعملة التي تبيعها فهذا يعني أنك ستدفع الرول أوفر (الرول أوفر السلبي). قد يؤدي الرول أوفر إلى زيادة ملحوظة على أرباحك أو خسائرك.
